Our family had been considering getting a family bike. A new one was out of the question, as the prices were sky-high. I started looking into whether it was possible to find a good, reasonably priced used family bike in Finland. Not a single one was available.
I remembered that while I was in Denmark, I had noticed the huge number of family bikes in traffic. Sure enough, there were plenty for sale there, and on my next trip to Denmark, I purchased our first bike.
When my son, who had been riding in the box, grew up and started cycling on his own, I put our family bike up for sale. The demand was huge!
The idea of selling more family bikes was born, as I work in Europe and have the opportunity to easily bring used bikes with me while driving from the Netherlands and Denmark to Finland.
This is how our company, Just Bikes, came to be.
